Consent of the Governed, a national grass-root citizen lobby, is a 501- (c)(4) tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to capture the imagination of the American people and create a national resolve to eradicate, modify or revise any and all policies, regulations, decisions, executive orders and laws that have or are still enabling, or in any way supporting, the perpetuation and infestation of drugs and the business of drug monies in America.
Consent of the Governed will lobby appropriate government officials to establish laws and or policies that allow for the confiscation of all drug monies in America and return them to local communities to be spent as the communities deem necessary. Special emphasis will be placed on the prevention of practices or decisions, outside the realm of law, that confiscate these funds by violating individual civil rights or personal privacy.
The acts call for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission on Drugs and the Business of Drug Monies (1943-2008); The People’s Bill – the return of all funds to local communities to be spent as they deem necessary; and a Code of Sacred Honor – a system of accountability and responsibility for our elected and appointed officials.
